BTR HEMI 5.7L VVT Stage 1 Camshaft
The BTR 5.7L HEMI VVT Stage 1 is the entry-level performance cam for 2009+ Chrysler HEMI applications — Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, Chrysler 300C, and RAM 1500 running the Gen III 5.7L with variable valve timing. It keeps daily driveability intact while adding 63hp and pulling the power band up by 1000 RPM.
If you're running a stock or near-stock 5.7L and want more throttle response and top-end pull without killing idle quality, this is the cam. IMS installs and dyno-tunes BTR HEMI cams in-house — we don't just ship the part.

What's in the Box
Camshaft + BTR-VVT-HEMI-8CAM VVT limiter. Valve springs sold separately — BTR recommends SK017 or SP021-16 for this grind. Talk to IMS if you're unsure which spring kit suits your build.
Stage 1 vs Stage 2 — Which One?
Stage 1 is the street cam. Factory idle, no converter change required, daily driveability preserved. If you're pushing harder — more compression, forced induction, or chasing a bigger RPM range — Stage 2 steps up the duration and gives you more top-end pull at the cost of a slight idle change. Talk to us before deciding.
IMS stocks BTR HEMI cams and fits them in-house.
Call or email to discuss your 5.7L build before ordering — the right cam depends on your converter, compression, and how the car gets driven. Contact IMS | Back to BTR HEMI range
