High-output Mechman alternators typically come fitted with small drive pulleys designed to maximize low-RPM charging. However, running these units past Mechman’s strict 20,500 RPM rotor speed limit leads to premature bearing failure, thrown belts, armature expansion, and a voided warranty.

Engineered by Monsta Torque as an optional upgrade, this 3" billet pulley reduces alternator drive speeds down to a safe operating range at high RPM

Note: Due to the larger pulley diameter, a slightly longer serpentine belt may be required depending on your tensioner range. Idle voltage may show a slight drop on low-idle applications.
