Owner of a 1976 HJ Kingswood, 202 red motor, I decided to have IMS tune the Gas. The Impco Gas system is 24 years old and the car was well down on power.

The guys at IMS managed to achieve another 25 HP out of the old girl which has improved the driveability of the car beyond recognition! It’s very important to have my car running as good as possible for towing my vintage caravan and the team at IMS have certainly improved the cars ability to tow the van comfortably.

A few months ago we commissioned Stathi at Independent Motorsport to create a custom roll-cage for our 500rwkW CV8 Monaro. And I have to say that we were rapt in the result. After spending quite some time discussing what we wanted in a ‘cage, Stathi set about creating a welded combination incorporating boot extensions and side intrusion bars. The ‘full’ roll cage incorporates eight (8) mounting points, with additional strengthening via an angled ‘taxi’ rail and a number of cross braces designed to ensure optimal chassis integrity and impact protection in a vehicle having previously proven its ability to achieve similar terminal speeds to the V8 Supercar brigade on a range of Victorian race tracks. We have to say that the quality of workmanship, the neatness of execution, is second to none – particularly given a price tag that had us wondering why we hadn’t organised the case earlier.

Independent Motorsports performed a flash tune on my Ford Territory Turbo and also removed the exhaust bung.

I was super impressed by the money spent & what output the car gained. Overall Independent Motorsports provided a great service with all aspects in their business.
