The team at Independent Motorsports want to say a BIG congratulations to Paul Krausz on running a 10.60 pass @ 127mph at Calder Park on Friday night.
Paul owns a HR with a standard 2JZ motor and a GT42 turbo running 18psi on a very conservative tune.
This is one car that is definitely a sleeper & you need to keep your eye on next time it is out on the track.

I thought I would post up the most recent progress on our drag car.....
We spent the whole of last weekend wiring up the new ecu in the drag car.

We have recently swapped from a Microtech to a Haltech Platinum Sports 2000 with full data logging.

This week we have had the car on the dyno at any opportunity we get in preparation for the drags at Calder this Friday. Saturday was going to be a closed meet for Comp Cars, but we have just been advised that this day has been cancelled. So Friday it is - lets hope the weather holds up because it will be the last meet of the year.

Just in case you are wondering what the contraption is hanging out of the gemini's exhaust - well that is something that we had to put together before we started tuning the gemini so our fellow neighbouring businesses would not complain about the noise! As odd as it looks it definitely did the job!

Here is the latest progress on Kyle's 240z.
We received the cobra plenum this week & as previously mentioned in our first post about the 240z we had to modify it to suit the Z's engine bay due to the throttle body not being in the right spot.
Next step will be the cooling system for the car.

Whilst on the subject of the Supra, we attended the Ford Four Club Day on Melbourne Cup Day at Sandown & ran the fasted lap time of the day.
Next race meet with the Supra will be the Australian Supersprint Championships held at Phillip Island Circuit on Nov 14th & 15th.
