Calder Park 10/11/17 Fast Friday

Another fantastic Fast Friday, a good night of racing... With wonderful blue skys and a warm track it was to be near perfect conditions for some consistant fast times.

After "leaving his balls on the line" during the last meet, regular customer / new-comer racer Josh came back with his XR6T better then ever with a set of Driveshaft Shop 1400hp driveshafts, ready for some test runs with the transbrake.

Josh managed a best of 10.375 @ 136 mph, a personal best and climbing a place on our very own top 10 list found here

The IMS Territory whilst not achieving a PB, still managed three 9.91 second passes (144mph) proving the consistency and reliability of this build.  With multiple 140+ MPH runs acheived, the Track Marshalls advised us that its now time we run a parachute should we want to continue racing at Calder...  Needless to say, a chute was ordered first thing Monday Morning!

After an absense of racing for over a year, Kenny was back on the strip edging closer and closer to a 10 second pass, managed a best of 11.047 @ 128 mph

One of the biggest surprises of the night was Colin with his VF SS.  With one of our LS3 Stage 4 packages + convertor running on the factory 245 wide 18" tyres, Colin achieved an unbelievable 11.67 @ 121mph, keeping up with a lot of forced-fed V8s on the night.

It was newcomer Brad's, first time on the strip.  It was a steep learning curve when pass after pass resulted in a rather humourous smoke show for us to all enjoy.  When he finally gained some traction, Brad reeled off a PB of 12.4 @ 129 mph

Paul brought his 2JZ powered HR out for some more test runs with the new Haltech engine management.

We look forward to seeing those ETs drop and those MPHs increase!  See you at the next meet!
